WWE SmackDown viewers up; AEW Rampage audience lowest in history

Last Fridayโ€™s WWE SmackDown on FOX, which served as the go-home show for SummerSlam, attracted 2.179 million viewers. This is an increase from the 2.058 million viewers the previous week.

In the key 18-49 demographic, SmackDown achieved a 0.60 rating, up from last weekโ€™s 0.52 rating.

On TNT, AEW Rampage drew 209,000 viewers, down from 309,000 viewers the previous week.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Rampage maintained a 0.12 rating, the same as the previous week.

Wrestlenomics notes this is the lowest audience Rampage has ever recorded, including weeks preempted by the NBA and NHL.

Both WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage faced strong competition from the Olympics on NBC, which drew 13.1 million viewers and a 2.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
