Preview: The October 25, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA. This marks the final episode of the blue brand for the month. The lineup includes many WWE stars such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, and more.
The highly anticipated conclusion of the series between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes was set for last week’s SmackDown. However, a backstage altercation between the two resulted in the match being canceled. Currently tied at 3-3 in their last six encounters, General Manager Nick Aldis announced that the match would now occur this week, with LA Knight serving as the special guest referee.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin made their WWE debut last week on SmackDown, facing off against A Town Down Under and Los Garza in a Triple Threat tag team qualifying match. MCMG triumphed in their debut, securing their spot in the tournament. They are now scheduled to battle Johnny Gargano and Ciampa this week. Additionally, WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will face WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther at Crown Jewel 2024. Ahead of this clash in Saudi Arabia, Rhodes has invited Gunther for a face-off on Friday Night SmackDown, which Gunther has confirmed.
Roman Reigns, known as “The Original Tribal Chief,” was attacked by The Bloodline during last week’s episode of SmackDown. He is confirmed to appear this week as part of a six-show commitment on the USA Network in October and November 2024. Reigns is poised to seek revenge against Solo Sikoa and the rogue members of The Bloodline.
