The October 22nd episode of WWE NXT will be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The WWE Performance Center serves as a training hub for professional wrestling, owned by the promotion.
This week’s show will feature a tag team match between IYO SKY and Kairi Sane (Damage CTRL) versus Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson (Meta-Four). The match has some history, stemming from the October 14 episode of WWE RAW, where Jackson and Legend were ringside for a match between Damage CTRL and the team of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who are the current tag team champions. A heated interaction between Sky and the Meta-Four duo during the match cost Damage CTRL the victory.
Former WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is set to face Luca Crusifino. Femi recently lost the NXT North American title to Tony D’Angelo, ending his record-setting 273-day reign. Luca, a member of The D’Angelo Family stable, requested this match, aiming to prove that no one disrespects the ‘family.’
Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will also be in action, taking on Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley (Fatal Influence). The match was set by NXT General Manager Ava after a backstage segment on last week’s episode. Vaquer made her in-ring debut last week in a singles match against Wren Sinclair. Additionally, Jaida Parker will go head-to-head with Tatum Paxley. Their match was booked after Parker interrupted Paxley during a playful moment, leading to this showdown.
