Preview: WWE NXT – October 8, 2024
The October 8, 2024 episode of WWE NXT marks the second installment of NXT on CW, following last week’s exciting premiere. This week, the action continues at The Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri, with several pay-per-view caliber matches and segments featuring some of WWE’s biggest stars.
WWE has announced that Sexxy Red will make her highly anticipated return to NXT this week. Speculations suggest she may be involved in various in-ring and backstage segments, and could even host the show.
Match Highlights:
- WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) will defend their titles against A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller & Austin Theory. Predictions lean towards Frazer and Axiom successfully retaining their titles.
- NXT North American Championship Match: Oba Femi will put his title on the line against Tony D’Angelo. Despite potential interference from D’Angelo’s Family, many speculate Femi will emerge victorious to retain his championship.
- Six-Women Tag Team Match: Kelani Jordan teams up with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to face Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx. The consensus is that Jordan, Belair, and Cargill will come out on top.
- Singles Match: Randy Orton will go head-to-head with the youngest competitor on the roster, Je’Von Evans. While Evans is expected to put up a strong fight, Orton is predicted to secure the win, demonstrating sportsmanship afterward.
Additionally, Jey Uso confirmed on Raw Talk that he will be staying in St. Louis for another night to attend this week’s NXT. While details on his appearance remain unclear, he will be live on the show.
