Rhea Ripley Attacks Liv Morgan, Naomi Pins Nia Jax in Chaotic WWE SmackDown Segment
During an action-packed episode of WWE SmackDown, Naomi secured a major victory by pinning Women’s Champion Nia Jax in a non-title match. However, the chaotic scene that unfolded around the women’s division match stole the show.
Jax entered the ring with Tiffany Stratton by her side, ready to address her successful title defense against Bayley at Bad Blood. She acknowledged Bayley as a tough competitor but stated that it wasn’t enough to dethrone her, hinting that WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan would face a similar fate in their Champion vs. Champion showdown at Crown Jewel in November. Jax then turned to Stratton, instructing her to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan after their match.
Naomi interrupted, taking issue with Jaxโs reliance on Stratton to retain her title at Bad Blood. Provoked by Jax, Naomi challenged the champion to a one-on-one match. As the tension built, Morgan, accompanied by Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio, made her way down the ramp, crossing the brand divide from WWE Raw to SmackDown to witness the clash between Naomi and her future Crown Jewel opponent.
The match was a hard-fought battle between Naomi and Jax, but outside interference muddied the waters. Stratton landed a cheap shot on Naomi while the referee was distracted. However, Rodriguez intervened, snatching the Money in the Bank briefcase from Stratton, allowing Morgan to capitalize. Morgan used the briefcase to strike Jax across the back as she ascended the ropes, giving Naomi the opportunity to hit a powerbomb followed by a high-angle pin for the 1-2-3 victory.
The chaos didnโt end there. After the match, Rhea Ripley stormed the ring, targeting Rodriguez and attempting to get her hands on Morgan. Ripley briefly attacked Jax, but Rodriguez quickly pulled Morgan out of the ring to escape, leaving the segment in pandemonium as SmackDown went off the air.
