Report: Fan Backlash Stops ‘Street Trash’ Name For The Judgment Day, Whose Idea It Was

Due to significant fan backlash over the proposed name change of The Judgment Day to Street Trash, WWE has decided to retain the original name.

Although the fan backlash was strong, the term “Street Trash” will still be incorporated into the group’s branding, a concept introduced by Finn Balor. Merchandising concepts featuring this slogan have already been finalized and approved.

WrestleVotes reported: “To follow up on this: WWE has addressed the fan backlash and will keep the Judgment Day name. However, the slogan ‘Street Trash’ will be integrated into the group’s gimmick, an idea from Finn Balor, with merchandising designs already completed and approved.”
