Former WWE Personality Jonathan Coachman Explains Shock At WrestleMania 40 Doc
Jonathan Coachman, a former WWE personality, shared his insights on the “WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain” documentary during an appearance on “Busted Open Radio.” Coachman, who has extensive experience in WWE, described the program as a natural progression for the company after Vince McMahon’s departure.
He emphasized that with WWE‘s transition to Netflix, it is crucial to present both positive and negative aspects of the business, something that was difficult under McMahon’s leadership.
Coachman, known for his close association with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, noted that the documentary’s delay was likely due to extensive editing involving Johnson. He expressed surprise at learning that Triple H had no plans for Cody Rhodes as of the Royal Rumble. While the documentary portrayed Johnson as willingly stepping aside for Rhodes in a match against Roman Reigns, Coachman believes the decision was more complex. Despite Johnson’s reduced involvement this year, Coachman predicts that he could return to lead WWE to unprecedented success.
