Vince Russo, a former WWE booker, believes WWE star Natalya has been poorly booked over the past several years and deserves more respect due to her family’s legacy. Since April, Natalya’s WWE status has been uncertain, with her contract expiring this summer, sparking speculation about her interest in AEW. Current TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has expressed a desire to wrestle Natalya again.
In an interview with “Sportskeeda WrestleBinge,” Russo suggested that Natalya’s poor booking is due to her inability to advocate for herself. He emphasized that she should receive more credit for her Hart family legacy. “She doesn’t stand up for herself, she doesn’t remind them who she is and what her legacy is. Natalya should not be ‘yes sir,’ ‘no sir.’ She’s royalty in the business, she’s paid her dues, she’s been around for a very, very long time and she deserves that respect.”
In 2024, Natalya has wrestled on both the main roster and “WWE NXT,” facing new opponents like Lola Vice and Izzi Dame.
