Dominik Mysterio is intrigued by how WWE will explore new boundaries with its move to Netflix but emphasizes the importance of meaningful content.
WWE has announced that Raw will be transitioning to Netflix in 2025 as part of a $5 billion deal, marking a significant shift in the promotion’s broadcasting strategy.
Triple H has assured that the move will not result in censorship issues. Dominik Mysterio is enthusiastic about the potential for change but stresses that WWE should not overdo it. He discussed his thoughts with Logan Paul on the Impaulsive Podcast, expressing curiosity about how WWE will navigate this new platform while cautioning against excessive use of non-PG elements like “blood and tables.”
Mysterio mentioned that for these elements to remain impactful, they need to be surprising and rare, similar to Randy Orton’s RKO. He noted that while fans might expect dramatic changes, such as extreme content, it should be used sparingly to retain its significance.
“I’m curious about the changes and the boundaries we can push,” Mysterio said. “People might expect over-the-top elements from the first episode on Netflix, but for such things to be special, they need to be unexpected, like an RKO out of nowhere.”
