AEW is enhancing the lineup for the August 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As announced on the August 14 episode, Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW Continental Championship against Claudio Castagnoli. Castagnoli earned this title opportunity by defeating Lee Moriarty and Tomohiro Ishii on the August 3 episode of AEW Collision. Okada and Castagnoli confronted each other on the August 14 episode of Dynamite.

Additionally, AEW American Champion MJF and Will Ospreay will have a segment on the August 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, just days before their title match at AEW All In. MJF previously defeated Ospreay to claim the title on the July 17 episode of Dynamite.
Moreover, HOOK will compete against Big Bill in a singles match.
