Chris Jericho To Defend FTW Title Against HOOK At AEW All In

A new title match has been announced for AEW All In.

FTW Champion Chris Jericho previously attacked HOOK with a fireball on the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. HOOK made his return on August 7, confronting Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith.

On the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, HOOK appeared with a bandaged eye and mentioned he was unable to see from that eye but could still see with the other one. He called out Chris Jericho, demanding a match immediately.

Jericho responded by coming to the stage with Bill and Keith. He turned down HOOK’s immediate challenge, stating it wasn’t worthwhile. However, Jericho agreed to a title match against HOOK at AEW All In. He set the condition that if HOOK lost, he would have to leave the Jericho Vortex forever.

Jericho also stipulated that HOOK must face Big Bill on the August 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, which HOOK accepted. HOOK warned Jericho that after their match, Jericho would never be the same.
