ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 will occur on July 26 at Esports Stadium in Arlington, TX, where AEW and ROH are in a month-long residency. Mark Briscoe, who became ROH World Champion by defeating Eddie Kingston at ROH SuperCard of Honor 2024 in April, has successfully defended his title against Kyle Fletcher on June 20th. He will defend it again at Death Before Dishonor against former ROH World Champion Roderick Strong, who held the belt from September 2010 to March 2011.

Athena, the longest-reigning ROH Women’s World Champion, won her title at Final Battle 2022 and is approaching 600 days as champion. She will defend her title against Queen Aminata, arriving at Esports Stadium as champion for 594 days. Additionally, three other championship matches are announced: Billie Starkz will defend the ROH Women’s World TV Championship against Red Velvet, Wheeler Yuta will defend the ROH Pure Championship against Lee Moriarty, and Atlantis Jr. will face Brian Cage, Johnny TV, Lee Johnson, Lio Rush, and Shane Taylor in a 6-man Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World TV Championship.

The event’s match card features 10 matches, headlined by Mark Briscoe defending the ROH World Championship against Roderick Strong. Athena will aim to continue her ROH Women’s Title reign against Queen Aminata. Billie Starkz will defend the Women’s TV title against Red Velvet. Another highlight is the Texas Deathmatch between Diamante and Layla Hirsch. Atlantis Jr. will defend the Men’s TV title in a Survival of the Fittest match against Lio Rush, Shane Taylor, Brian Cage, Lee Johnson, and Johnny TV.
