Bully Ray Says This WWE Rivalry Needs To Be Paid Off At Some Point

WWE’s current roster is packed with ongoing storylines, such as the Bloodline angle, Chad Gable and the Wyatt Sicks, and the escalating feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. However, Bully Ray on “Busted Open Radio” emphasized the need for CM Punk’s rivalry with Seth Rollins to unfold. He cited Rollins’ reaction to Punk’s return at Survivor Series as a key point. “They need to revisit that. This rivalry is deeply personal, given what they said about each other while in different companies.”

Bully Ray highlighted the potential profitability of this “blood feud.” He predicted WWE might soon crown GUNTHER as the World Heavyweight Champion and suggested a Rollins-Punk feud to determine the next challenger for GUNTHER. “Ultimately, you’ll want to see Punk challenge GUNTHER.”

Regarding who should play the heel or babyface in the Punk-Rollins feud, Bully Ray recommended leaving it to the fans. “I wouldn’t force either as the heel. Both will speak their truth, and we’ll let the fans decide whose side they’re on.”
