WWE NXT Results 10/15 – Triple Threat Contender’s Match, Lola Vice vs. Nikkita Lyons

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s coverage of WWE NXT for October 15, 2024! We’re live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Tonight, Trick Williams will discover his first challenger since regaining the NXT Championship. In a Triple Threat Number One Contender’s Match, Ethan Page faces off with Je’Von Evans and Wes Lee to earn a shot at the title. Williams captured the gold from Page on the October 1 episode of “NXT,” and tonight’s winner will mark his first defense as champion.

Also, Tony D’Angelo will appear to celebrate his recent victory over Oba Femi, which ended Femi’s historic 273-day reign as North American Champion. Meanwhile, Nikkita Lyons returns from injury to wrestle her first televised match since January 9, facing off against Lola Vice. In addition, Stephanie Vaquer makes her “NXT” debut tonight in a match against Wren Sinclair in the women’s division.

Old rivals Oro Mensah and Lexis King will clash in a Gentleman’s Duel, where brawling outside the ring is prohibited, and strict rules will be enforced—violations result in disqualification.

With NXT Halloween Havoc around the corner on October 27, the infamous wheel used to determine match stipulations will appear on tonight’s show. Elsewhere, Ridge Holland will face former Chase U member Riley Osborne in a rematch from their September 24 encounter.

We’re live! Vic Joseph and Booker T welcome viewers as The Family heads to the ring.

We Hear from Tony D’Angelo

The North American Champion, Tony D’Angelo, kicks off the show, saying he wanted to celebrate his win without The Family by his side. He admits that capturing the title took every trick he had, even baiting Oba Femi into thinking he was broken. D’Angelo proposes a toast to Femi, but the celebration is cut short.

Femi’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. A calm but determined Femi acknowledges that D’Angelo got the better of him. However, he promises that at Halloween Havoc, he will reclaim his championship—and he’ll do it alone, without The Family.

Femi spins the wheel to reveal their upcoming match: a Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Wren Sinclair (w/ No Quarter Catch Crew)

The bell rings, and Vaquer and Sinclair lock up. They exchange holds early on, with Sinclair gaining control by locking in a bridging double chickenwing and a Fujiwara Armbar. Vaquer fights to her feet and rolls up Sinclair, but Sinclair kicks out.

The match continues as Vaquer lands a leg drop and slams Sinclair’s head into the mat. Sinclair responds with a shoulder tackle, a crossbody, and a double underhook suplex, followed by a corner clothesline. Sinclair charges at Vaquer, but Vaquer dodges and delivers a Dragon Screw.

Vaquer capitalizes with a meteora and a package backbreaker for the win.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer
