WWE Bash In Berlin Predictions: Picks the Winners

The WWE Bash in Berlin is part of a jam-packed end-of-summer lineup of wrestling events, sandwiched between AEW’s All In and All Out. This Saturday’s show in Germany is one of the most anticipated events, featuring big matches like GUNTHER defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes putting his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Kevin Owens.

In addition, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will try to keep their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against former champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. The event also includes a heated non-title match where “The Terror Twins” Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest seek revenge against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, and CM Punk will face Drew McIntyre in a Strap match to settle their long-standing rivalry.

At Wrestling Inc., we pride ourselves on predicting most PPV/PLE matches correctly. After a strong performance at AEW’s All In, where our predictions went 8-2, we feel confident in forecasting the outcomes for Bash in Berlin. If you want to know who is likely to win, here are our picks!

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (69% chance of winning)

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are heading back to Europe this weekend to challenge Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The last time these teams met, Fyre and Dawn won the titles by pinning Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle in June. Since then, they’ve defended the titles twice, but they’ve never defeated Belair and Cargill directly.

According to our Wrestling Inc. team, 69% believe that Belair and Cargill will avenge their previous loss and reclaim the titles in Berlin. In a recent WWE SmackDown episode, their title rematch ended in a DQ due to Blair Davenport’s interference on behalf of The Unholy Union. However, Belair and Cargill bounced back by teaming with Naomi to win a match last week, giving them momentum heading into the championship match.

Mixed Tag Match: Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest (63% chance of winning)

Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, known as “The Terror Twins,” are out for revenge against their former allies, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, who betrayed them at WWE SummerSlam. This weekend in Berlin, they’ll face off in a mixed tag team match.

Some Wrestling Inc. staff members believe this feud will continue until WWE’s Bad Blood event, with Morgan and Mysterio potentially winning to set up a bigger showdown. However, 63% of our team thinks Ripley and Priest will even the score this weekend. Ripley’s impressive track record in the ring, combined with potential support from the Latino World Order, makes her and Priest the favorites to win in Berlin.

Strap Match: CM Punk (94% chance of winning)

One of the most anticipated matches in Berlin will see CM Punk take on Drew McIntyre in a Strap match. Their rivalry has been intense, with McIntyre winning their last encounter at WWE SummerSlam, thanks to special guest referee Seth Rollins. Now, Punk is looking for payback, and our team is confident he’ll get it.

The feud between Punk and McIntyre is one of WWE’s hottest storylines, and it likely won’t end in Berlin. While McIntyre winning again could keep the rivalry going, 94% of our team believes Punk will win this time, setting up a final showdown later.

This will be Punk’s second singles match since returning to WWE, and he should be positioned as a strong competitor. While there’s a small chance McIntyre could win, Punk is the clear favorite.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (94% chance of winning)

Cody Rhodes is heavily favored to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in Berlin. While a few of us think Owens might pull off a surprise win, possibly by turning heel, 94% of our team believes Rhodes will walk away with the title.

The match setup has been unusual, with Rhodes casually offering Owens a championship opportunity despite Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns being in the mix. Owens has been hinting at a possible heel turn, but many of us think it’s too obvious to happen just yet.

We don’t expect many titles to change hands in Berlin, and most of us believe Rhodes will continue his championship reign. However, there’s a possibility of a heel turn, either from Owens or Randy Orton, depending on how Orton’s match with GUNTHER goes earlier in the night.

World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (100% chance of winning)

Every single member of our Wrestling Inc. team believes GUNTHER will retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in Berlin. Even though WWE has a history of having stars lose in their hometowns, GUNTHER’s victory feels certain.

GUNTHER’s first title defense is unlikely to end in a loss, as WWE’s current booker, Paul Levesque, prefers longer title reigns. This match is set up perfectly after the controversy surrounding GUNTHER’s win over Orton in the King of the Ring tournament, but there is absolutely no chance of GUNTHER losing the gold this weekend.
